Kirengeshoma palmataAn unusual late flowering perennial, useful for planting under deciduous trees, in good to moist soil. Nodding pale yellow flowers. Up to 1.5m (5ft) high.
Kniphofia galpiniiSpires of bright rusty-orange flowers through the summer. 45-60cm (18-24”) high.
Kniphofia rooperiUpright hardy perennial reaching 120cm (4ft) or more in height when flowering in late summer and early autumn. Flowers are large, rounded, orange and yellow spheres.
Kniphofia uvaria ‘Nobilis’A most majestic plant; sending up towering thick spikes of red, orange and peach – as it ages; each individual tubular flower a positively massive 4cm (1½”) long. Bob Brown aptly describes it as a ‘Landmark’! 1.8-2.1m (6-7ft).
Kniphofia ‘Wrexham Buttercup’A substantial 1m (39”) yellow poker, with fat yellow heads that age to golden-yellow, appearing from August through to September. A super hardy perennial, looking good when planted with Agapanthus which enjoy similar growing conditions.
