Hosted by Christine Eldridge, this course is suitable for anyone who has done some watercolour painting before or been on one of our courses.
This course concentrates on painting foliage in combination with flowers. The emphasis will be on making an interesting composition using the shapes & colours of the foliage. It will be useful to have some experience of watercolour painting, but help & guidance will be given in a variety of painting techniques, suitable for this subject-matter.

Cost: £40 to include morning coffee & biscuits on arrival, afternoon tea/coffee & homemade cakes.

About the tutor:
Christine Eldridge trained as a textile designer at Chelsea School of Art. After a successful career as a designer she started specialising in painting flowers. She has exhibited her paintings at various galleries throughout the country, in addition to completing commisions here and abroad. Her work has been shown at the Society of Botanical Artists annual exhibition as well as the Royal Horticultural Society's exhibitions, where she has won the silver medal three times.
