Spring Open Weekend

Saturday 1st & Sunday 2nd March 10am – 5pm

Come & join us for our special opening weekend

Propagating Herbaceous Plants – Day Class

Sunday 16th March 10.30am – 3.30pm

This information packed day covers everything you need to know about sowing seeds, taking cuttings, division of plants – including many ‘tricks of the trade’.

£25.00 Tea/coffee and home made cake served mid morning and afternoon

Please bring your own picnic lunch (Hot drinks provided).

RHS Event - Spring Perennials

Monday 10th March 2.00pm – 4.30pm

Early flowering perennials to bring colour & interest into your garden.

Talk illustrated using plant material from the nursery display beds.

Perfect Perennial Partners

Saturday 26th April 10.30am – 12.30pm

Christine will share her knowledge of how to create perfect plant combinations in the garden. Tips on selecting the right plants will be discussed, and techniques to help you achieve beautiful results in your own borders.

Creative Containers

Saturday 24th May 10.30am - 12.30pm

Christine will give advice on choosing plants for different containers and demonstrate how to plant up and maintain them.

Ideas for a wide range of containers and situations including shady retreats, sunny courtyards and miniature water features.

£6.00 to include tea/coffee and biscuits.

Herb Day

Saturday 31st May 10am – 5pm

We are delighted to welcome Chelsea Gold Medallists Kim & Rob Hurst from The Cottage Herbery of Tenbury Wells for this day.

Kim Hurst will be presenting two one hour demonstrations for us.

11am Creating a Herb Garden

Growing fragrant and flowering herbs, tea herbs, thyme carpets and more.

2.00pm Grow your own Natural Tastes and Flavours

Kim will demonstrate how to ‘bring a zing to your food’ – including salad herbs and edible flowers.

£5.00 per lecture to include tea/coffee and homemade cakes

Wonderful Organic Herb stall open throughout the day – free admission.

Summer Perennials

Saturday 12th July 10.30am – 12.30pm

Come and enjoy learning about a wealth of perennials at this summer event. Planting ideas, cultivation advice and a guided tour of our display borders will be included.

Flower Painting in Watercolour Weekend

Saturday & Sunday 9th & 10th August 10am -4pm

This two day course is for anyone who loves flowers and would enjoy learning how to paint them. The course tutor is Christine Eldridge. Full details of the course content and what materials you need to bring on request.

Great Garden Grasses

Saturday 6th September 10.30am – 12.30pm

The fashion for grasses lives on and in this event Christine will highlight some of the best grasses available for a wide range of garden situations. Grasses can provide a long season of interest and add an extra dimension to your borders which continues on through the winter months.

RHS Event – Extending the Season with Autumn Perennials

Saturday 13th September 2pm-4.30pm

An illustrated talk on the best perennials to keep colour & interest in the garden through the autumn months.

Events for Groups

Any of our events can also be arranged for presentation to clubs & groups who visit the nursery – so why not get your friends together and make a booking.
