Kim & Rob from the Cottage Herbery will be joining us again for this special day.
They will bring their lovely organic herb stall which will be open from 10am until 4pm.
In addition Kim will be presenting a talk entitled
'The Tastes & Flavours of Herbs'
in which she will explain how herbs enhance our food and growing & using herbs in the food we prepare and cook. This talk will cover 50 plus herbs and how to grow, crop & use them to add flavour & taste to our food. Some old favourites, some exotic & some that can add a new twist to your dishes. She will be including tastings of leaves, edible flowers & seeds.
The lecture will be from 11.00 am to 12.30pm.
Cost: £10 to include homemade herb muffins, herby dips, fresh cut salad leaves, edible flowers and fruit drinks.
Booking required for the lecture only - otherwise no need to book, just come along to enjoy the herb stall. Kim & Rob always have lots of interesting and unusual plants beautifully displayed.
