Established in 1987, Christine & Nick have created and
developed Hall Farm Nursery over the past 23 years.
They both studied diploma courses at Pershore College of Horticulture & worked in different horticultural fields before starting the nursery.
Hall Farm Nursery has a fine reputation for its herbaceous plants.
The plants sold at the nursery are all propagated and cared for on site, using traditional methods and high quality compost. The plants are well cared for at all stages, so you can be assured that you are buying a plant which will grow away well for you.
A plant care regime is followed which includes regular tidying of plants and cleaning polytunnels & standing out beds. Biological controls, which are environmentally friendly are used whenever necessary.
The nursery is attractively set out and there are well maintained display borders where many of the plants can be seen growing. You can wander around at leisure in the relaxed surroundings & see the plants as mature specimens.
The catalogue lists plants which will be available at some point during the season – not all plants will be available at any one time.
All plants are hardy perennials unless otherwise indicated.
You can download our catalogue from here.
Please phone to check if you are travelling for a specific plant.
Hall Farm Nursery exhibits at shows and plant fairs throughout the season. A list of those we are attending in 2010, can be found on our shows & plant fairs page.
We are happy to take plant orders to any of these shows or plant fairs, please let us have your orders in good time.
We have been awarded 44 RHS Gold Medals during our 17 years of showing, including the most prestigious Chelsea Flower Show Gold Medal in 2005.
It is our aim to provide a friendly and quality service for people who enjoy growing plants. And we so much enjoy meeting fellow plantspeople from near and far.
Ron and Petry from Holland visited Hall Farm Nursery in the autumn of 2009...
'We have visited The Hall Nursery. This Nursery is very good organized. We have bought very special plants . Ron has all the plants put down in a database. We hope that they are growing very well in our garden in Middelburg, the Netherlands. We have spent the night on the nursery. We were very surprised that you give us your confidence to sleep in our camper on your nursery.'
Petry & Ron,See you in 2010.
Jenny visited Hall Farm Nursery in the summer of 2009...
Your nursery has inspired us to lift our wildflower meadow and plant perennials, as your plants were attracting so many more butterflies than our meadow!
Regards, Jenny
